Research methods coursework.

A research design, methods, and communication course builds towards a research proposal which is defended within the host department.


Breadth development coursework.

1 week-long summer school with workshops in several areas, delivered by experts, on topics including communication, intellectual property, government policy, commercialization, etc. To be held at a field station in Atlantic Canada.


Splinter meetings.

Once per year, CREATE students will be able to attend a splinter meeting - a special session for CREATE students and faculty.


CREATE peers.

Since this program is distributed amongst several institutions, online tools such as wikis, blogs, and videoconferencing will help link students and their projects.
